We were presented with a 67-year old female, non-smoker, with well controlled borderline diabetes, seeking 500k of UL coverage. She was diagnosed with Stage IB, T1c breast cancer with one lymph node micrometastasis in 2011 which was treated with surgery and radiation, ending the same year. Mammograms were completed annually, kept up to date, and all follow ups were favorable.
Took a loss with Carrier #1 as they declined to offer. Tried a Table C plus a $20/1000 flat extra for 4-years with Carrier #2 – no go.
