Guaranteed Liquidity In SUL Sales – Replacing the LBL Concept

With the news that Lincoln Benefit Life has been sold to Resolution Life, advisors who previously sold LBL policies for the guaranteed liquidity feature in their SUL contract are searching for a viable alternative.

We have two carrier partners who can offer a similar contract provision, which allows the clients to receive a return of premium if they surrender their policy during a pre-determined period of time.  For example, one of the available SUL products provides for a full return of premium if the policy is surrendered within the first 60 days following the completion of the 15th policy year.

Your Life Sales Rep can provide you with the information and sales materials to use to introduce this benefit to potential clients, or to provide an alternative strategy for any existing policies as part of a policy review.  Call us today if you would like to learn more about guaranteed liquidity in second-to-die products, or if you would like to discuss the LBL sale and how it may affect your clients existing policies.
